Thanksgiving Message

To all my friends out there I hope you all experience the love of the Saviour this Thanksgiving holiday!

Here are some quotes from the Word to help you reflect on this time of remembering the goodness that is our God.

I thank my God every time I remember you. (Phil 1:3)

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful (Col 3:9)

Therefore, since we are recieving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire. (Heb 12:28)

So then, just as you recieved Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. (Col 2:6-7)

Give thanks to the Lord, call on His Name, make known among the nations what He has done (Chron 16:8)

I will give thanks to the Lord because of His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High. (Psa 7:17)

You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heartmay sing to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever. (Psa 30:11-12)

I will give you thanks in the great assembly; among throngs of people I will praise you. (Psa 35:18)

We give thanks to you O God, we give thanks, for your Name is near; men tell of your wonderful deeds. (Psa 75:1)

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. (Psa 100:4)

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever. (Psa 107:1)

You are my God, and I will give thanks; you are my God, and I will exalt you. (Psa 118:28)

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin isin the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Cor 15:56-57)

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him. (2 Cor 2:14)

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! (2 Cor 9:15)

Me joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thess 5:16-18)

Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song. (Psa 95:2)

Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? (1 Cor 10:16)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Phi 4:6)

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him on song. (Psa 28:7)
